BLOOD DONATION CAMP
Department of EIE & Mechatronics along with SJS Medical centre jointly organized a Blood Donation Camp on 14.02.2017.
A team of doctors and nurses from the Chengalpattu Government hospital had reached in time for collection of blood for their blood bank.
The Doctors were felicitated by Dr.Sriram, Dean (E&T), Prof.V.Swaminathan, HOD (EIE & Mechatronics). The Donation camp started by 9.30a.m and went on till 2.30p.m.
We are very happy to inform that we have received tremendous response from our students and more than 145 active persons donated blood on this occasion.
The donors went through a series of medical checkups before donating blood and Snack items, fruits were also distributed to the donors for their generous participation. The certificate of honour was given to the regular blood donors.
In connection to the above, I would like to convey my sincere thanks to the administration for giving me the opportunity to organize the program and also the team of SJS medical centre, who provided the facilities for conducting the same. I would also thank Mr.Nagarajan for his generous sponsorship towards fruits donation for the blood donors.
The event was a huge success with a large number of students and teachers turning up for the good cause. I thank all for their active participation
